FORBES HOUSE

HOUSE REFURBISHMENT & GARDEN ROOM EXTENSION
EDINBURGH 2009-2010

An existing conservatory is to be demolished to make way for a timber-clad, garden-room extension to this Victorian property in the Ravelston Conservation Area. The adjoining kitchen will also be reconfigured, existing bathroom enlarged and access to the upper floor bedroom improved. Construction work started in February 2010.

The proposed garden room extension will feature full-height sliding
doors, roof-lights, super-insulation and timber cladding.
